Cotton is heavy and lower. Sales of middlings are being made at 36£ c a 38c per pound. The Breadstuff's market is dull. Flour is selling at 9d a I7d 25e per barrel; Wheat at 2d 15e a 3d 25c per bushel j Corn at Id 25c a Id 26c per bushel. The provision market is very dull, and the tendency of prices is downward. Coffee is steady but quiet. Copper is heavy at 30 cents to 30| cents for Detroit and 30 cents for Baltimore. Drugs and dyes are steady, but with only a moderate business doing. The Stock market is not so animated this morning as it has been for the past two or three weeks, but it is very firm, and the indications point to a further rise in all kinds of securities. The money market continues very easy. Pacific Mail Shares are quoted at 243, and Atlantic Mail Shares at 112. Gold is quoted at 146.
