POSTAL NOTICE.
On and after January Ist, 1867 the following rates of postage will be charged on all letters and newspapers posted in New Zealand, for delivery within the Colony : — No. 1. Town Letters. Posted at any Post-office within the colony for delivery at or from such Post-office : — Not exceeding £an oz. ... ... Id. Exceeding £ an oz.,but not exceeding 1 oz. 2d. For every oz., or fraction of an oz. overloz. ... 2d. No. 2. Country Letters. Posted at any Post-office within the colony for delivery at or from any other Post-office within the same Province : — If ot exceeding § an oz 2d. Exceeding & an oz., but not exceeding 1 oz 4d. For every oz., or fraction of an oz. 1 oz. M. No 3. Interprovincial Letters. Posted at any Post-office within the colony, for delivery at or from any Post-office in any other Province within the colony : — ■ Not exceeding lan oz, ... ... 3d. Exceeding £ an oz., but not exceed- i ingloz. ... 6d. For every oz. or fraction of an oz. over 1 oz. ... ... ... 6d. On all Newspapers posted within the colony for delivery within the colony, One Penny each. 3IAHS CXO3B POB — Campbelltown, on Saturday, at noon. Punedin, Mataura, Long Sash, and Gore, on Monday 31st inst., at 7 p.m. Wallacetown, Waianiwa, Winton, Benmore Lowter, Athol, Nokomai, Kingston, and' Queenstown, on Monday, 31st inst', at 7 p.m. EDW.
