On and after January lst 1967, the following rates of postage will be cbarged on all letters and newspapers posted in New Zealand for delivery within the Colony : — No. 1. Town Letters. Posted at any Post-office within the colony for delivery at or from such Post-office : — Not exceeding £an oz. ... ... Id. Exceeding i an oz., but not exceeding 1 oz. 2d. Eor every oz., or fraction of en oz. overlzo. .. 2d. No. 2. Country Letters. Posted at any Post-office within the oolony for J delivery at or from and other Post-office within i the same Province : — Not exceeding £an oz ... ... 2d. Exceeding i an oz., but not exceeding 1 oz 4d. Eor every oz., or fraction of an oz. over 1 oz. ... ... ... 4d. No 3. Interprovincial Letters. Posted at any Post-office within the colony, for delivery at or from any Post-office in any other Province within the colony : — Not exceeding % an oz 3d. Exceeding £ an oz., but not exceed- J ing loz 6d. I For every oz. or fraction of an oz. i over 1 oz. ... ... ... 6d. On all Newspapers posted within the colony for dehvery within the colony, One Penny each. MAILS CLOSE FOB — Campbelltown, on Wednesday, at noon. Riverton and Orepuki, this day, 10th inst., at 10.15 a.m. Dunedin, Mataura, Long Bush, and Gore, this day, 10th inst., at 7 p.m. The Northern Provinces, per overland, this day, at 4 p.m. Wallaeetown, Waianiwa, Winton, Benmore, Lowther, Athol, Nokomai, Kingston and Queenstown, this day, 10th inst., at 7 p.m. EDW.
