AEEIVED. Dec 6, 6.10 p.m.—Ahuriri, s.s., from Dunedin. sahiEd. Dec 7,12.20 p.m.—Queen, s.s., for Dunedin. Dec 8, 6 p.m. Rifleman, schooner, for Chatham Islandf.
The s.b. Wellington left Wellington at 4 p.m., o*Q the 2nd inst., arrived at Lyttelton 9.50 a.m. on the 3rd inst., sailed same day, arrived at Port Chalmers at 10.15 a.m. on the 7th, sailed at 6 a.m. on the 7th, and arrived at the ■wharf here at 10.15 a.m., on the Bth inst., experienced strong head winds during the whole passage ; sailed for Hokitika at noon same day. The s.s. Otago is due here from Melbourne direct to the Bluff and Otago. The s.s. Omeo sailed from Hobsons Bay on the 29th uit., experienced strong E. and S.E., gales during the whole passage ; arrived at the heads st 9 p.m. on the 7th inst., made fast to the wharf at 8 o'clock this morning, and landed the whole of the stock shipped in excellent condition.
