.RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COUET. (Before H. M'Culloch, Esq., E.M.) SATURDAY, 20th OCTOBER. One inebriate was fined 10s or 24 hour's imprisonment. MOKDAT, 22nd OCTOBER. . G-eorge Walker, for some time past an inmate of the Lunatic Asylum, was brought before the Court, and the medical testimony being to .the effect that he was in a fit state to go at large, was duly discharged. Civil Ca.ses. beoad v. boss. Claim for £1 5s for detention of a glazier's diamond. Adjourned, at request of defendant, to the 23rd, to enable him to produce a witness. TUESDAY, 23bd OCTOBER. : In this case (adjourned from the 22nd) it appeared that defendant had borrowed the diamond, arid lost it. He disputed the value charged, but plaintiff swore he gave 25s for the diamond in London. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs, Bs.
