The Canadians are again getting into a great state of ferment, fearing that the Fenians are about to make another raid upon their frontier. The only occasion for this scare appears to be that the Fenians within a day or two propose holding an immense pic nic at Buffalo. It is rumoured ia Washington that Secretary Stanton is about to be appointed Minister to the Court of Madrid, and that General Steadman, of the Freedmen's Bureau, will be made Secretary of War. It is hoped the rumour will prove correct.
