Claim for wastes, £100. Mr Reid for plaintiff, Mr Macdonald for defendant. Judgment for plaintiff, £23. Amount paid into Court by dofendant. GRIEVE V. MORISON, LAW AND SQUIRES. An action to recover the sum of £83 di- mages for the detention of 84 lambs. Mr Reid for plaintiff, Mr Macdonald for defendants. It appeared, from tbe evidence on behalf the plaintiff, that he was a shepherd in the employment 'of the defendant on the Mavora Station, and in April last had about 200 ewe sheep on the run. It was agreed that the plaintiff was to receive 43 -V per cent as bis share of tbe lambing of the flock. Tbe station was transferred^ to Law and M'Gregor, in the month of April, and since then plaintiff bad applied both to the defendants and to Messrs Law and M'Gregor for bis lambs, but could not obtain" them from either of tbem. The evidence for tbe defence clearly ptfoved that tbe plaintiff was present at the time bis sheep were mentioned between defendants and Law and M'Gregor, and acquiesced in an arrangement by which Law and M'Gregor were to allow bim a per eentage of tbe lambs. Judgment for defendants, with costs, £S 2s.
