The Eev. Dr Norman Macleod does not seem to be well up in Ms Bums ;at the Scottish Hospital dinner he ascribed to the Scottish poet the song of" The Land of the Leal," which was writen by ,- .the Baroness Naiane. The attempt to stock the Australian rivers with salmon has been so far success, ful that the Eivers Derwant and Plenty of Tasmanian, now contain upwards of .2000 fish.
