Daedt Times, Office, Tuesday, 29th May. The Week has commenced with a fair amount of busmess doing, both amongst importers and second houses. Intelligence from the West Coast is to the effect that prices are improving and stocks decreasing, and that considerable demands will, during tlie course of the winter, be made upon this market for supplies. The flour market is languid and as yet without any marked alteration in rates. A little activity has apparent in sugars ancl teas, but the sales have been more numerous than large, market values being unchanged. Sales of bulk ales to arrive continue to be made at fully maintained rates.
