Davies, Adamson, Higgings, Battler, Mrs Chevilie's two children ; and seven in steerage.
The N.Z.S. Co.'s s.s. Rangitira left Port Chalmers at 5 p.m. on the 29 inst., experienced fine weather on the coast, arriving at the wharf at 8 a.m. The Rangitira's trip to the Bluff is the last of the old contract ; next month the steamer Taraniki takes up her station on this line, arriving at the Bluff on the 14th inst., and sailing for Dunedin and Northern Ports on the 16th inst. The s.s. Tararua left Port Chalmers at 5 p.m. on-the 30th inst., experienced very fine weather ; made Pog Island at 2 a.m. this morning, when tlie engines were eased till daylight, arriving at the wa-arf at 7 30 tliis morning, discharged her carg -, and sailed for Melbourne at 11 a.m.
