MR WOOD obtained leave to bring in a Bill entitled "Police Ordinance, 1862, Extension and Amendment Ordinance, 1866." Leave having been granted, the hon. gentleman moved, and the PROYIN CIAL TREASURER seconded, that it be read a first time, which was carried, and ordered to be read a second time at next sitting.
