The Emperor opened the Hungarian Diet, at Pesth, on the 4th December, in person, and made a speech which was" !much applauded. His coronation as ; __ing of Hungary will take place shortly. _lis great aims, he said, were the unity of _he Empire and the modification of .the lawß of 1848.
