Southland Time 3 Office, Saturday Evening, Feb. 10. During the " past week business has shown decided improvement. A considerable quantity of wool for shipment has arrived, and large orders for country consumption have been executed. The market, generally, has an upward tendencyGood sound Adelaide fiour is firm at £32. The damaged goods, ex Rebecca, brought extreme prices. Teas and sugars are still wanted, and former prices fully maintained. Trade generally, is improving. On Wednesday last Mr. John Munro sold by auction, on account of whom it might concern, at the stores of Messrs Morison, Law and Co., Esk- street, and at the Jetty Stores, a portion of the cargo of the brig "Rebecca, from Melbourne, consisting of flour, tea, sugar, and sundries, all more or less damaged by sea water. There was a good attendance of buyers, and tolerably brisk competition. Flour (Adelaide) brought from £23 to £26 per ton. Tea in quantity, from Is 8d to 2s per lb. Sugar (Mauritius) from 26s to 32s per cwt. The miscellaneous goods sold well. The following are the Customs returns for
