The P.N.Z. and A.R.M. Company's steamship Phcebe, Captain Ferguson, arrived at the Bluff on the 10th inst., having left Otago at 7 p.m. the previous evening. Experienced thick weather ■with heavy rain ouring the passage. During the short stay of the steamship Star of the Evening at the Bluff, on the 9th instant, for the purpose of coaling, Captain Turner was presented with an address and a purse of sovereigns by the passengers on board, as a mark of appreciation of his conduct during the late gale.
