(By. Semaphore).. Thtjbsdat, 27th Octobbb 8 a.m. — Wind; at- sea, N.N.E., strong breeze. Q?he Escape, from Leithi v outside the bar, with pilot on board. The Alarm still outside. A schooner and a coaster in sight. - 6 p.m. — The Escape -at anchor under Stewart's Island. The -Alarm still beating about' outside the Heads. Wind, S.E., strong., Fbedat, 28th Octobeb; 1864. 2 a.m. — Wind at sea,' N. 5 light," hazy. A schooner in sight, apparently bound for the port. , 10 a.m. — Brig Alarm, and barque Escape, five miles off. Heavy sea on the bar.
