The Southland Times. TUESDAY, OCT. 13, 1864.

The Bteamer with the August mails from Europe had not been telegraphed at Bluff Harbor when we went to press. The privilege which the community last month enjoyed, of replying to their home correspondence in time for the outgoing mail, is thus denied them on this occasion. The mail for Europe and the Australian Colonies, closes this evening at 9 o'clock, vid Southampton, and at 9.30 o'clock, via Marseilles. Newspapers may be posted up till 7 o'clock p.m.
