GOLD STATISTICS.
The quantity of gold exported from tho Province of Otago, says the Otago Daily Times, during the current year to this date, is 361,995 oz. 2 dwt. The quantity previously exported was as follows : — oz. 1861 187,695 1862 397,602 1863 580,233 1,165,530 Making a grand total since the discovery of | the goldfields, of 1,527,5250z. 2d\vt., the value of which, at the Enghsh Mint price, is nearly £6,000,000. The escorts have brought down the following quantities of gold during the current year : — oz. dwt.
