Tnero hate been some small transactions in light wines at full pi*ices. • " Teas are hardly so firm, in consequence of largo shipments from Melbourne of common congous, and which have been sold at from£6 6s. to £7. Fine congous are quoted at £7 lite, to £8 10s. Very fine are scarce, and worth £9 to £10 per chest. " Sugars are a shade firmer, but no- transactions of importance have been, reported. Mauritius sugars range as follows :— Rations, £31 to £33 ; counters, £35 to £39. '' Rice continues dull of sale, and Pstna cannot te quoted higher than £20 tc £21 per ton.
