LAUNCESTON.
The Cornwall Chronicle of the 13th instsnt says: — ■■■ ■ Flour is firmly held for £23 per ton, and 9s. 6d. per bnshel was obtained for v.h-_-at A-. -V -v. Oats remain without change, at 3*. Sd. to os. 9a. per bushel. Potatoes are firm at £5 ss. to £5 10s, per ton for sound parcels. The Launceston Examiner of the 13th gives the following report : — We cannot at present give any satisfactory information as to the state of the flour and grain market here, with the intelligence at hand to-day by the City of Launceston. There have been fresh arrivals of breadstuff's, from both Valparaiso and California, at Sydney, Melbourne and Dunedin, and there aire still other vessels on the way, with the promise of a good harvest in California. The Mills.— Union : fine flour, .£23 to £24 per ton; wheat, 9s. per bushel -, bran, £7 10s. per j ion.
