RAILWAY TRAFFIC RETURNS.

The traffic receipts of railways in the United Kingdom amounted, for the week ending the 4th of June, on 11,206 miles, to £625,506, and for the corresponding week of last year, on 10,809 miles, to £571,025, showing an increase of 398 and of £57,751 in the receipts. The gross receipts on the 14 leading railways amounted, in the afgregate, on 7,750 miles, to £500,352, and for the corresponding vreck of 1863, on 7,566 miles, to £452,920, showing an increase of 184 miles, and £17,554 in the receipts. — Economist.
