ENGLISH SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
The Lady Jocelyn,;S.s., was off Bio de Janeiro, 50 days from Sydney, short of coals. The Emigration Commissioners have chartered the Sirocco to convey emigrants to Sydney, New South Wales, at £12 9s. 6d. per statute adult. The Earl Bussei arrived at Plymouth on April 14, and sailed on the 23rd for Queensland, with Government emigrants, consisting of 26 married men, 38 married women, 150 single men, 82 single women, 60 children, and 9 infants, being 365 souls, equal to 326 statute adults. This ship was chartered by Her Majesty's Emigration Commissioners. Mr. Jobnßon, surgeon-superintendent; Miss Chapman, matron; and Mr. Chapman, schoolmaster. The ship Young Australia, 700 tons burden, left Plymouth on tlie 14th May for ' Queensland. She has on board 258 souls, divided into paying, assisted, and free passengers, and consisting of 85 members of families, 136 single men, 37 single females, The Young Australia is the forty-first veasel that has sailed on the land-order system of emigration under the immediate direction of the Queensland Government. . The Wanata, Captain Murphy, sailed from the Mersey on the 6th May, for Sydney, New South Wales, having on board 405 Government emigrants, comprising 30 married couples, 149 single men,- 145 single women, 23 boys, and 21 girls between 1 and 12 years of age, and seven infants ; in all equal to 376 statute adults, under the care of Mr. William Hohnan, surgeon-superintendent, assisted by Miss M. A. Beall, matron. The Government emigrant ship Art "Union sailed from Plymouth oh the 16th May for Adelaide, having on board 89 married couples, -107 single men, 56 single women, 31 boys, and 30 girls between 1 and ,12 years of age, and 13 infants ;ih all 326 souls. ,",'.-
