Supply -moderate. Calves; 9d. to lOd. A fair sppply. Lamb, 9d. to lOd. Market, fairly supplied. « Chaff. — Supply equal to demand. We quote £6 to £7. Grajt.^— Little or none in market. Price £15 to £16. Hay. — Demand for consumption is now' almost wholly supplied by Provincial, wliich is of oxcellent quality, and commarids £6 10s. to £6 15s. Maize. — The market is now quite bare. Small lots are worth 7s. to 7s 3d. Oats. — New crop is worth, in large quantities, 33. 9d. to 4s. 4d. Good Colonial and Californian, 3s. 6d. to 4s. 3d. Scotch, nominal. Onions have advanced again in price. A small quantity arrived during the week from Tasmania, cold for £20, wliich may now be quoted as the market price. Potatoes. — Stocks in town are considerably reduced, and prices firmer. One lot of imported sold on Wednesday at auction for £8. Wheat. — The stock is held by one house, and we can quote no sales.
