NOTICE is hereby given, that JOHN CHEYNE and LESLIE CHEYNE, of Invercargill, in the Province of Southland, lightermen, wharfingers, &c, tradiT»or, uuder the style or firm of CHEYNE BROTHfc US AND CO., did, by deed i bearing date the twenty-sixth day of May, 1864, GRANT, CONVEY, and ASSIGN unto Thomas Brunton, of Invercargill, aforesaid, Merchant, and Henry Homer, also of Invercargill, aforesaid, Accountant, all the ESTATE and EFFECTS of them, the said John Cheyne and Leslie Cheyne, upon the trusts therein mentioned, for the benefit of all the creditors of them, the said John Cheyne and Leslie Cheyne, and that the said deed was didy executed by the said John Cheyne and Leslie Cheyne, and by the said Henry Homer, in the presence of William Stuart, of Invercargdl aforesaid, solicitor, and' by the said Thomas Brunton, in the presence of David C. Stuart, of Invercargill aforesaid, clerk ; and that the said deed now lies at the office of Messrs. Harvey and Stuart, solicitors, Tay-street, Invercargill, aforesaid, for the perusal and execution by the creditors of the said John Cheyne and Leslie Cheyne, and who will be excluded from all benefit under the said deed, unless they execute the same on or before the lst day of Jidy next.
