There lias been a most cxtraordiuarj' ris<j in prices since our last report, and orders lo a rerv large extent lor both wheat ami flour have been received and executed from the neighboring colonies. In Melbourne especially a great advance has been est blishea. In that colony slocks seem completely exhausted, and they aie dependent for the moment on what they -receive hence, as their own harvest is not yet- gathered. As, however, beavy shipments" are now likvly to s^o forward, it is liardly probable that present rutes will be lung maintained. FiotTE — Every parcel available for delivery for the next weeK or fortnight has been eagerly purchased at prices varying fro:n £ll los ?oi>l3per ton- The latter figure represents the present vaiue or good siik-cirtsscd brands. "Whkat — The demand has been excessive, ami tar exceed in x the supply. Prices have advanced, and toe latest sales have taken place at 4s 7d to 4s 8d per bushel at the Port. The town price is about, is sd. Buax has also been in demand, and the price is 1 now Is 2d per bushel. Oats and barloy have experienced iso change, and prices are as before quoted. i'AHSi asd Dairy I'soduce — Jiacon and hams are very scarce, unii prices are higher. Eggs arc also in i'air demand.
