Until advices are to hand, trade must continue slack. — Mercury, 23rd January. Launcestox. Wheat — The market is almost cleared. Tiie threat rise that has taken placf in Mlebourne, and the drain upon tho market for Hobart Town, have: pretty well made & eleau sweep of a:l that is available. Since the arrival of the City of Lauuceston, the price lias run up to 5s 6M. Fiotrs — The exportations to Melbourne (wheie ifc is now quoted at, £16 to £18 per ton) have almost cleared the market., and it is probable that there are not fifty tons procurable ior immediate delivery. Considerable quantities havo been sold during tho last day or two at £1-4. Oats — The market is bare of this grain, and quotations nominal.
