A PUBLIC CONVEYANCE Will run between RIVERTON AND THE GOVERNMENT PUNT AT THE ORETI FERRY, For tho carrying of passengers and parcels daily, starting from the Riverton Hotel, Palmerston street, Riverton. On and after the sth December next, the Public Conveyance will run between Riverton and Invercargill, leaving tho Riverton Hotel, at 10 o'clock on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, returning from the Union Hotel, Tny street, Invercargill, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, aud Saturdays. TIIE Invorcargill Town Board is open till the Ist of January, 1864, to receive applications from persons competent to undertake the office of ENGINEER to said Board, who will be required t<> devote his whole time to the duties thereof, at a salary of £-100 per annum.
