November llth, 1863, viz.— "That the said Reward of £1500 will be paid to such person or 'persons Who may be declared entitled, to the Government Rawai-d of dBIOOO. x Intending Prospectors are al?o notified of the following resolution passed at the same Meeting, riz. — "That in the event of a payable Goldfield being 'discovered in the Otago Province, and suclj Goldfield being shown to be to the advantage of Southland, that the Commii tee shall have power to give a proportionate reward to the discoverer, and such Money to be raised as the Committee may deem most advisable.
