Hoksb MauS.et. — ."Messrs George Kirk nnd Co furnish the fbllow-mg report of this market : — "Business was exceedingly brisk in the early part of I hi? week, and a large number ofhorses changed hands at high figures. Lnter on, howeVer, the demand slackened considerably, and Rales were diflirult to effect, price s receding fully 15 per cent, on Monday's quotations. This decline is mily temporary, and is owujr to buyers for immediafo shipments having cotnple ed the number requisite to till up, and we have-uw doabt that prices tor goud stock wfll shortly revive. There was a better supply of heavy draHght stock this week. Prices for first class ranged from LSO to L6S, for medium L 22 to L3O, and for inferior L 8 to Lll. Hacks and light harness horses are in fair supply, and foumfbuyers at satisfactory prices- The greater portion of the unbroken stock offered tlris week was of a superior discription, and realized rates which must have proved satisfactory to tho breeders. On Monday and Tuesday wo offered two mobs.wbich were taken at averages remunerative to Ua.e owners.""
