The article of flour has considerably advanced in price, which may be attributed to the similar advance in the Melbourne market. The buyers of the cargo of the Highland Lassie have, it is said, made an excellent spec. Brandies, wliich formed part of the cargo,* are rep >rted to have been sold in town for twice what was paid for them, as they lay in the hold of the wreck. . o ■■ ■ The Melbourne Journal of Commerce reports a limited business in that market, flour being almost the only '-exception, exhibiting much firmness.
