The following Police to Mariners, received from the Government; of Victoria, is published for ffeaernl information. Rkader Wood, In the absence of Mr. Domett. Colonial Secretary's Office, Auckland, 3rd June, 1563. "Notice to Ma.bi>-jsbs. " Rock in Jfass' Straits. . ' A rock awash having been reported to osii»t in Bias' Strtuts, about five or six miles to tho E.N.E. of the Crocodile Roei, search for which has hitherto been unsuccessful, navigators are cautioned to keep a ffood loolc out when in the neighborhood of its assigned position. "The undermentioned bearings havo beon given as the position of this supposed danger • "Devil's Tower, E. by 8. } S., distant four " Curt to Island, S. £ E." ♦— - -
