About 4| miles from toion, the road turns to the left, and from thence to Winton Bush ( 18 miles) the dray track should be kept, then the Survey line to the River Oreti Cl 2 miles); from thence folloio the drag-track to the Elbow Accommodation House. By this route, 30 miles are saved, and if the Oreti is high the East Bank can be Icept all the way.
