TOWN BOARD.
According to notice, a meeting took place at 11 a.m. on the 6th of June. Present: —Mr Beavan, in the chair ; Messrs. Jasrgers, Clarke, and Grartbwaite. The Town Clerk reported that the deputation had waited on the Superintendent, who had consented to make arrangements for a loan. It was moved, That application he made for the loan of £6.000 for four months, until a sum should be placed on the Estimates at the ensuing session of the Provincial Council. It was also moved, That the footpaths in Taystreet be provided with necessary kerbing, &c.
