IN Pursuance of the Provisions of an Act of the General Assemblv of New Zealand, intituled, " The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858." and of an Act intituled, "The Provincial Elections Act, 1858," I, Andrew Jamieson Ellcs, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Waihopai, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ, bearing date the 26th day of May, 1863, issued under the hand of his Honor the Superintendent of Southland, an Election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a member of the Provincial Council of Southland for tbesaid electoral district, and that the nomination of candidates will take place at the house of Mr RoM.
