Since last month nothing worthy of record » happened chez nous excepting the proedings of the Provincial Council, which ye already appeared in these columns, with eh comments as seemed to us necessary, hat has occurred since the publication of ose transactions, cannot I>e fully discussed w. The Indemnity Bill, whicli gives sanom to the expenditure by the late Superinident of 1/12.271 3s 3d, for nine months, 3 been passed by the Council ; an Approiation Bill for something like Llo,Boo, for ovincial expenses" up to the end of this arter, has also received the assent of that 3y ; while a list of items in the shape of timates for the year ending with the •nth of Jane, 1864. has been presented for i digestion of the honorable members by i Government. As this little bill which b Council is asked to honor, involves cern principles of expenditure to which exption may be taken, there is every probacy of its meeting opposition as to many of details, but we must reserve our observans upon this most important subject for other opportunity.
