Friday, April 24. Wheat and flour still continue firm at former quotations, viz., 5s for new wheat, and for old wheat a trifld more would be given. Flour is in good demand principally for local purposes at Ll3. Bran, ls 4:1. Oats are not worth more f ban 5s 3d and are dull of sale. Cape barley, 4s 3d ; English in good demand at from fis to 6s 3d. Peas 4s 3d. Beans, 4s fid. We quote potutoes, which arc plentiful, at from L5 to L 5 10s. In prossed hay very little is doing. Loose bay is worth from L 5 to L 5 10s. The market is well supplied with butter, which is quoted at from ls 2d to ls 4d. — Mercury.
