Adjourned Inquest.
The adjourned inquest was held at the Court-house at 5 o'clock on Monday evening, when the following evidence was taken;— Michael Hennesey deposed that he was a seaman on board the schooner Jane, nowlying off the New River. Knew the deceased perfectly well to be a seaman, named John Willoughby. Saw him alive last Easter Monday, 6th April, at about half-past 9 o'clock at night, with four of his .trates, at the Prince of Wales Hotel. They all left the hotel together, and were going down to the Jetty, while witness stopped near fche'Postoffice, at Campbell's corner. Next morning, 7 th instant, at about half-past 10, a shipmate, named Macleod, said that he saw something.
