Wrifht, T?nhcrfson, and Co.'s Report for (he I week ended 3rd' January, 1803:-- Fat Cattle— The market has been pretty well supplied with fat cattle during tho week, and the 'trade are well stocked. Wo sold 30 head, ex Gazelle, from Wellington, at £20 per head. IJest quality beef maybe quoted at fiOs per 1001 b, second ditto 50s to 555. Fat Calves — In good demand, at £4 to £6 each. Store (Vttl — Very few Provincial cattle have come to hand, but several shipments have arrived from Welling! on. We have sold during the week the follow' ig lots. — 20 head, ex Remark; 190 head, ex Glcnshee; and 70 head, ex Gazelle — all ut £10 per Load. There is h good enquiry lor mixed mobs of Frovinci .1 bred, which arc very sa cable at from £12 to £15 per head. Working Bullocks — The demand is not so brisk, owing 'o the .11 in the rate- of cartage. We have disposed of two teams, ex Storm Bird and Gazelle, at from £50 to £57 per head. Store Sheep — Arc in fair request, and we quote Provincial bred ewes 2, 4 ■ and 0 tooth at 32s ; wctbrrs of similar agoe, 26s to 28s. Station Property — No transactions. Horses — The market has been well suppli 1 by the recent arrivals. We ' ye sold several tots es Torrent, Samuel Appeltmi, and other vessels, nnd on Monday next ehsill offer n. (splendid lot ex Samuel Appleton, selected by Mr Mose Snrges and Mr George Ward. Our pr -nt quotations arc, for — First-class Draught Horses — £70 to £90, second ditto ditto, £45 to £GO. Li'jht Harness and '. Hacks — First quality, £">0 to £fio ; second ditto, £3o to £40 ; inferior, £20 to £30. Good Pack Uorscs— £3o to £40.— Daily Times.
