Business during the last week brisk. Fat Cattle and Sheep in good demand. Market very barely supplied. Store Cattle are in demand. Put Cattle 1-jime bnllocks, 60s per 100 cwt; inferior, Lt6 to L2O per head. Fat Sheep— Prime wethers, from 38s to 48s per head ; none in the market. Horses — Heavy draught, L6O to LBO ; inferior, L4O to L 5 5; light harness and good hacks, from LlO to LSO ; inferior, from L 25 to L 35. Land— There is a g-ood demand for town allotments and small sections ; we sold 15 Bub-divided allotments ; average, L2l each. We are expecting a small mob of good cattle in a few days, and also a mob of mixed cattle, including some good milch cows in calf, and with calves ai foot.
