LETTER CARRIERS’ DELIVERY Deliveries by Letter Carriers are made daily. Town delivery at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Suburban delivery at 9 a.m. MAILS WILL CLOSE AS FOLLOWS ; Friday, 17th August. For Nossi Be, Mayotte, Madagascar, Reunion, Mauritius, Seychelles, Algeria, France, and other Continental countries, per French Packet. For the United Kingdom and the Continent of Europe (via Naples), India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Aden, Egypt, Tasmania, and the Australian Colonies, per b.b. Talune, at 10.25 a.m. Money Orders will be issued and Letters registered up to 9.25 a.m. The English mail of this despatch will be due in London on 3rd October. Correspondence intended to be forwarded by this opportunity must be specially addressed via Naples. Tuesday, 21st August. For the United Kingdom, the Continent of Europe, East and West Coasts of South America, per R.M.S. Deric at 3.45 p.m. The Doric will leave Lyttleton on the 13th August and be due in London on 3rd October. Money orders and Registered Letters will close at 2.45 p.m. Parcels at 3,45 p.m. The S-S.
