The Reporter

A NEW CARRIAGE SEAT. Mr C. Hallam, of Dunedin, who has recently patented what appears to be a good thing in adjustable carriage seats, arrived here on Thursday, and will exhibit one of them on a buggy built by Mr W. H. Mathieson, at the Prince of Wales yards during to-day. Farmers and others interested would do well to take this opportunity of seeing the seat in actual use. We may add that at the recent winter exhibition of the Otago A. & P. Society in Dunedin the article obtained the highest award.
