IT is hereby notified that the Annual Examination of Pupil Teachers under the Board will be held in the Middle School, Invercargill, and in the Public School, Queenstown, commencing on Tuesday, the 26th June, 1894, at 1.30 o’clock p.m., and on subsequent days, at 9.30 a.m. Pupil Teachers presenting themselves for the First and Second-class Examinations are hereby reminded that, by Regulation XIV, they must send to the Secretary of the Board, not later than 20th inst., an intimation of the extra (optional) subject in which they wish to be examined. HOUSEHOLDS RS in the School Districts of Arthurs Point, Charlton, Clifton, Elderslie, South Forest Hill, Flints Bush, Glenorchy, Greenvale, Heddon Bush, Hedgehopo, Kenniugton, Kingston, Longbush, Mossburn, Myross Bush, Otatara Bush, Oteramika, Oteramika Gorge, Pukerau, Quarry Hills, Lower Shotover, Skippers Reefs, Tisbury r Waimutuku, Wairio, Wairekiki, Wendonside, and Roslyn Bush, having failed to elect School Committees on Monday, 23rd April, 1894, notice is hereby gLen th it, in accordance with Section 14 of “ The School Committees’ Election Act 1891,” the Hoard has fixed Monday, the 2nd day of July, 1894, at half past 7 o’clock p.m, as the time, and the Schoilhouse in each of the above, mentioned Districts as the place, for the election of a School Committee in each of the aforesaid Districts. The Board has also fixed the first meeting of the newly elected Committee to be held immediately on the termination of the public meeting of householders. Householders are called upon to send in the to Chairman of the School Committee, in writing before 8 o’clock p.m, on Monday, the 25th June, the names of persons, being resident Householders, nominated by them for election to serve upon the Co nmittee for the remainder oi the now current year. Such nominations must be signed by the proposer and by the candidate, and must he in the formset forth in the Schedule appended to “ The School Committees’ Election Act 1891,” or to the effect thereof.
