A BRIDAL FORECAST.
JFtail voyager upon the perilous sea Of human love, launching on that great deep Thy heart’s rich cargo, hopest thou to keep Under all skies a tranquil mind and free ? Bright are the waters tossed in sunlit glee Or murm uriug mingled music in their sleep, But skies may darken, bitter blasts may sweep, fn3 the wild hurrying tempest beat on thee. Is shipwreck darker doom than stagnant ease? Tho’ Love risk pain, Love with all risk be mine ; Soshall my heart, when darkness God decrees, Itide out the storm until the morning shine, Stropping her anchor thro’ these perilous seas ■©l human Love deep into Love Divine.
