T?he J. G. Ward Farmers’Association, Ltd.' report having held their fortnightly stock sale at Invercargill yards on the 6th inst. The attendance was smaller than usual, no doubt caused by the improved state of the weather which enabled farmers to stack gram. The entries in all classes were quite up to the average. We sold 4 pens of cows .and bullocks at LlO, to LlO 12s 6d, LI2, and Xl2 7s 6d, being top price for some time at “the yards ; medium, L 8 to L 8 ss, and cows L4to L 6. Fat Sheep—A full entry with limited •demand. The butchers were easily supplied, and for fre?zing purposes the various works at the present time are well supplied.
