Oats (dull): Prime Algerian milling, Is 5Ad ; stout white, Is IGd ; Tartarian, 2s. At the Dunedin stock sales on the 28th lust., there was a slight advance for prime beef. Best bullocks brought £‘.l 10s to CIO 17s Gd ; medium to good, £8 2s Gd to C.l 7s Gd ; light, LG 15s to L 7 15s; best cows, L 8 15s to Lb 10s ; medium to good, L 5 1 s Gd to L 7 17s Gd ; light and inferior, L 3 5s to 1.5 10s. Sheep : Best crossbred wethers brought 13s to 14s, medium finality, 10s 3d to 12s bd, best crossbred ewes, 11s to 12s bd, a few choice 13s Gd to 14s Gd, medium 7s bd to 10s 3d, and merino wethers 4s 3d to 7s. There is no movement in grain.
