LITHGOW will assist at the piano. Pending the preparation of a large room for the purpose, Mr Barnes will be glad to hear from intending pupils for class instruction. Specially - prepared lessons, for classes of not more than eight or nine members in each, have been ai’ranged to suit persons unable to avail themselves of more private study, and as far as possible the classes for male voices will be organised so as to admit of singing in parts in order that pupils can qualify tlemselves for membership of a proposed Licdcrtafei. Should sufficient inducement offer, MrBarnes will also form classes for children, and on this point he would respectfully call parents’ attention to the beneficial influence on health, following careful tuition in singing, satisfactory proof of which can easily be obtained from medical advisers.
