SOUTHLAND COUNTY POISONED GRAIN EOR SMALL BIRDS. It is hereby notified that farmers desirous of obtaining poisoned grain for small birds, can be supplied to a limited extent, free of cost, at the Southland County Council office, Invercargill, and at Mr Thomas Green's office. Gore. The conditions arc that applicants apply at either of the offices named, and make written application, guaranteeing to report to the Council on results, also that they supply their own bags. The Grain is prepared by Mr Powell, of Ashburton, and consists of Wheat, Shelled Oats, and Pape Seed. By order. R. P.
