AUCTIONEERS’ REPORTS.

The N. M. and A. Co., report as follows; At the Wallacetown yards on Tuesday the entries of fat cattle, with the exception of a few pens of prime bullocks, consisted of half fat cows and bullocks and butchers being supplied very few sales were made, the best lots being trucked to Dunedin market. One' exceptionally prime heavy bullock sold at Ll 6, being the best beast that has yet been in the yard. A few lots were sold at L 7 for ordinary bullocks, and L 7 5s for prime cows, medium bulllocks at L 8 5s to Dti 155.. Fat Sheep— A small entry and dull saleBest wethers in the wool brought Kis 2dj shorn wethers, 12s to 18s ; shorn ewes, 9s (id to 10s Id. Store Sheep—Only a small entry and. little demand, several lines being Raised. We sold shorn hoggets at 7s Id, shorn* wethers at 10s. Store Cattle —About 180 head yarded, and! buyers being present a good sale resulted. We yarded and sold 94 head—3 year old steers at L 5 Bs, 2 year old do L 3 IGs, yearlings L2 10s, dry cows JL3 19s 6d. The inquiry for good steers continues, buyers from th® north still being unsupplied. Skin and Fat Sale —Our entry for Monday was very heavy, but every lot sold at fairly good prices. Best heavy woolled skins brought 5.1 per lb ; lighter, 4id to 5d inferior and broken, 3d to 4d; butcher’s green skins 4s Id to 4s 4d each ; green pelts, lOd to Is Id; dry do, 7d to lOd ; lambskins. Is to Is 5d ; horsehair. Is per lb; tallow, 17s to 18s per cwt; rough fat, 9s to 14s, according to quality; hides {a very large number forward and a good many, in. damaged condition) —green sold at 7s each and salted up to If per lb. Our next sale will be held on the 29 th inst when we will offer ail bag lots to hand. Produce Market—Dull. Nothing to report-
