BLUFF.
The Presbyterians will shortly hold a bazaar with a view to raising funds to liquidate the debt on the new church. Members of the congregation are taking great interest in the movement, and all the ladies are busily employed designing articles useful, beautiful, and too numerous to particularise. A feature of this bazaar will be the outside assistance the promoters thereof are receiving. Goods will be sent from Dunedin, Port Chalmers, Invercargill and other centres, and a contingent of young ladies from Invercargill will be in attendance to assist in vending same. The drill and athenaeum halls will be retained as the base of operations, and part of latter building will be fitted up as a refreshment room. The barque Crusader has taken in a quantity of grain and wool during the week. The Othello has discharged her inward cargo and is now loading for Sydney under charter to the J. G. Ward F. A. The barquentine Cnitoor will also load grain. The Esther from Napier may show up any day, and also the Ocean Ranger from Newcastle.
