At Burnside on Wednesday, best bullocks brought £lO 10s to £lO 12s 6d ; extra heavy, £l3 10s to £l7 15s; medium, £8 10s to £9 12s 6d; light, £6 5s to £8 ; best cows, £Blos to £lO 2s 6d; medium, £6 to £7l7s 6d; light and aged, £3 5s to £5 17s 6d. There is a good demand for store cattle. In sheep, best crossbred wethers brought 17s 6d to 18s 6d; medium to good, 15s to 16s 9d; light, 13s to 14s 6d ; best crossbred ewes, 15s 6d to 17s 6d; medium, 12s 9d to 14s; merino wethers, 8s 3d to 12s 3d. —Sales of pigs have been made as follows: —Suckers fetched 10s 6d to 15s ; slips, 16s to 18s; stores, 20s to 255 ; porkers, 28s to 33s ; baconcrs, 38s to 53s ; extra heavy, to 575.
