WAIMATUKU. At the last meeting of the shareholders of the dairy factory (which is under lease) the bal-ance-sheet submitted showed a profit for the year of *£l9 Is Bd. Messrs Neale and Ranee vvere chosen directors —the former being re-elected. The factory will be reopened in October. We have had a lot of sickness lately, the measles appearing to go from house to house. The school has had to be closed again. The weather has been very broken of late, and farming operations have been greatly interfered with.
